Published in May 2003 - This report presents the results of a study of housing markets and low and
changing demand for housing in Cheshire, Lancashire and Cumbria in the
North West of England. The study was commissioned by a consortium of
housing organisations, local authorities, and housing associations and was
carried out by the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies (CURS) at the
University of Birmingham. It builds on and updates previous work by CURS
covering housing markets in the West Midlands, the M62 corridor area of the
North West, Yorkshire and Humberside, the North East, and the East
Midlands.
